PARTICULARS of the Office now vacant in the Medical Department in the Cotony of Hongkong.!

1. Duties of office and qualifications Quired for their performance.

Must be fully qualified in medicine and surgery and on the Medical Register. He should have gene through a course of training at ene er the Scheals of Trapieal Medicine.

The duties will consist of medical and surgical werk either among out-patients er in a hospital or any other medical and sanitary work which the officer may be required to de.

2. Salary and emoluments, and whe- ther secured by permanent law.

£480. When plased on pensionable establish ment at end of three years' probation, salary will be increased te £520. rising to £720. by 240, increment triennially.

$270. annually as conveyance allowance.
